Cavalcade 2016 Charity

Belfast - Portrush Cavalcade

Sun 7rd August 2016

Cavalcade 2016 Sponsors

The East Antrim Old Vehicle Club (EAOVC) will host the annual Belfast-Portrush Cavalcade on Sunday 7th August 2016.

We are pleased to anounce that this years charity is ‘Crossroads You Carers’, A local charity recognising the role of children play in caring for ill/disabled family members on a daily basis.

The event is Sponsored by E.A.Davies Insurance & Co Ltd, Glengormley for the 13th year.

Last years event raised over £5,000 for ‘Lighthouse’ .  The money was raised by placing adverts in the Souvenir program along with sales of ballot tickets leading up to the event and on the day. With your support we can raise even more for this years charity

The Cavalcade will again start off at Mossley Mill.  Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council will be providing us with a hearty breakfast to get us on our way.

Leaving the mill at 10:30am the cavalcade will wind it's way to Portrush, parking up at the Dunluce Green for a static display.  A light lunch will be provided in the way of sandwiches given out at the club's marquee after which we can relax for the afternoon.

At about 4:00pm we will then proceed in convoy to the Magherabouy House Hotel for a Three Course Dinner, followed by presentation of the finishers awards and the drawing of the ballots.

Everyone is welcome to come and see the 100+ cars from 1920's to 1980's, either along the route at the roadside as they pass through, or at any of the stops through-out the day.  The Club really appreciate the support the public has given throughout the years
